Appalachian State University's Graphic Communication Management Department
As a team member of Appalachian State University’s student-led Advertising Agency, I was tasked with the responsibility of writing articles for the University's Department of Graphic Communication Management.
My work included the following steps:
RESEARCH: Collected information through conducting an interview, and personally researching each article topic.
WRITING: Integrated information into engaging and informative content, all while maintaining the department's message and identity.
COMMUNICATION: Regularly communicated and collaborated with department members in order to fine-tune the articles,
EDITING: Refined the articles to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to the department's messaging.
I worked directly with two department leaders, Dr. Glissen and Dr. Bishop, to obtain feedback and approval for these assignments and ensure alignment with their strategic goals.
Appalachian State University Students Excel in AICC Student Packaging Design Competition
Two Graphic Communication Management students, Lex Smith and Rylee Woods, received third place in the AICC Student Packaging Design Competition. This achievement not only reflects positively on the GCM program but also showcases exceptional student designs in the corrugated packaging field, offering a peek into the industry's future.
